Bogolo Kenewendo
Bogolo Joy Kenewendo is a renowned Botswanan economist and politician who has made significant strides in both the public and private sectors.
She served as the Cabinet Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Botswana until 2019, where she championed economic growth and international trade. Currently, she is the Managing Director of Kenewendo Advisory in Gaborone, Botswana, where she continues to influence economic policies and strategies. In addition to her advisory role, Ms Kenewendo leads the Molaya Kgosi Women Leadership and Mentorship Program and is the Board Chair of the Molaya Kgosi Trust, fostering women’s empowerment and leadership. In June 2022, she was appointed as Special Advisor and Africa Director to the United Nations Climate Change High-Level Champions, highlighting her commitment to sustainable development and climate action.
