Peaceinvest welcomes Ms Kenewendo, former Cabinet Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Botswana, as the new member of the Board of Directors.

Peaceinvest is thrilled to announce the appointment of Bogolo Kenewendo to its Board of Directors.

Ms. Kenewendo is renowned for her dynamic leadership and substantial contributions to economic development. As a former Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry in Botswana, Kenewendo has demonstrated exceptional skill in shaping policy, fostering international trade relations, and promoting sustainable economic practices. Her experience in public policy and international trade will provide crucial insights as we continue to expand our operations and influence across various sectors.

The key solutions put forth include building more robust food storage facilities in African countries alongside production and crop yield measures to provide adequate insurance policy. Africa, with 24% of the global agricultural land, can become the world’s breadbasket, but faces the gravest levels of food insecurity.

We are honored to welcome Bogolo Kenewendo to our Board of Directors. Her extensive experience and visionary leadership align perfectly with our strategic goals. We are confident that her contributions will be pivotal in navigating the challenges and opportunities ahead.

said Scott Weber, President and CEO of Peaceinvest

Most importantly, Kenewendo’s advocacy for sustainable development and economic empowerment resonates with our core values. Her involvement in global initiatives, such as her work as Special Advisor and Africa Director to the United Nations Climate Change High-Level Champions, reflects her dedication to creating lasting, positive change. This alignment will strengthen our commitment to bridge finance and peacebuilding.

The appointment of Bogolo Kenewendo to our Board of Directors marks a significant milestone in Peaceinvest’s journey. As we continue to grow and innovate, her strategic insights and leadership will be instrumental in shaping our future.
